Despite having a wealth of young talent North Melbourne have continued to struggle. Having appointed four-time premiership coach Alastair Clarkson for the 2023 season they expected an uplift in performance however he was forced to take extended leave given the controversy surrounding his time at Hawks. With further young talent added in the draft period and maturing players their supporters will be hoping for an improvement.
