Mark O'Connor had another consistent year and has notched up over 100 games in the AFL (only about 15% of players reach this milestone). O'Connor is known for his ability to tag and lock down other teams best players around the midfield. He may not have the highest disposal or goals stats but his tackling is elite level and he covers a lot of ground during a game.

Having already won an AFL Grand Final in 2022 and being from the most successful GAA Football County in Ireland could he be another to follow in Tadhg Kennelly's footsteps in future years if he decides to step away from AFL.
