2023 Performances
2023 was the breakout year for Callum Brown playing more games this season than all his other years combined. In previous years and the early rounds of 2023 Brown was used in defence but has truly found his best position as a medium sized forward. He is generally being marked by the opposition's 3rd best defender (with Toby Greene & Jesse Hogan occupying the other two) meaning he is typically up against a smaller bodied defender.
Brown kicked 19 goals in the 2023 season, more than all other Irish players in the AFL combined (18).

2024 Expectations
In 2023 Brown didn't make the 22 man squad until round 7 and didn't kick a goal until round 12. He kicked 7 goals in his final 5 games and hopefully he can pick up from where he left off in 2024. Expect Brown to kick more goals and create more highlights than the rest of his Irish peers.
Given GWS only narrowly lost the Prelim Final in 2023 to the eventual champions Brown should appear deep into the Final's series in 2024.
